Discover the winners of the tenth edition of the Environmental Trophies

Held under the chairmanship of Mobilians president Francis Bartholomé The tenth of the Environment Cups took place at the Domaine de Chantilly.

Autoéco celebrated its double anniversary on 8 September in the historic setting of the great royal stables of the Château de Chantilly (Oise). The firm, which specializes in traceability of automobile recycling, has extinguished ten candles of its Environmental Cups in more than twenty years. On this occasion, Autoéco presented its trophies under the dome of the grand royal stables, before presenting an equestrian show and a gala dinner to the 300 or so guests. At the ceremony, which is held jointly as every year, Automatic Informationrewarded the most virtuous distributors, mechanics and manufacturers in automobile-related waste management. A total of 13 trophies were awarded on themes related to environmental performance, prevention, commitment or water management. Seven awards were related to franchises, the other five were reserved for distribution groups, and a final trophy awarded a particular project. This year, a new trophy highlighted a group’s approach to mobility.

more than 500 entries

On this tenth anniversary, the number of applications increased by 21%, with more than 500 entries registered. “The annual success of the Environmental Cups demonstrates that the entire automotive aftermarket profession measures up to these challenges”highlighted Olivier StrongPresident and founder of Autoéco. For registration, the companies involved must separate at least three non-hazardous and five hazardous wastes for three years. In the context of strengthening global environmental legislation, this approach deserves recognition and emphasis.
